Under the auspices of Hanoi People's Committee, the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations organizes the 2008 international contest on Thang Long - Hanoi "Hanoi - Your destination" in celebration of the 1000th founding anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi. This done in coordination with the Office of the Steering Committee for the 1000th founding anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi. This year's contest is designed for foreigners and overseas Vietnamese, and is conducted online in six languages: English, Russian, French, Chinese, Esperanto and Vietnamese.
The Organizing Committee unanimously sets the regulations as follows:
1. Topic: Discovery of the historical and cultural heritages of Hanoi. (Enclosed with questions) 2. Participants: Foreigners and overseas Vietnamese who know any of the six following languages: English, Russian, French, Chinese, Esperanto and Vietnamese. 3. General regulations: - Each entrant will complete multiple choice test and the 7th question is a writing about your ideas on preserving and embellishing historical and cultural heritages with about 1000 words.
