In preparation for the 1000th founding anniversary of Thang Long – Hanoi, the International contest to discover Thang Long – Hanoi entitled: “Hanoi – Your Destination” has been organized on end by Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations (HAUFO) in coordination with the Office of the National Steering Committee for the 1000th founding anniversary of Thang Long. This year, we have already sent you all the information and the contents of the International contest 2008 with topic: “Discovery of the historical monuments and cultural heritages in Hanoi” through Internet.

During the past 6 months, we have already received more 700 submissions of the participants of many different nationalities in the world.

In order to meet the demands of time of the participants, The Organizing Committee has decided to extend a deadline for submission of entry to 15/10/2008.
